I'm just in mood for art. These two are Katran and Squfur. Katran the name of the Tanuki (raccondog) means 'Pitch' and Squfur the fox's name means 'Sulphur'.
In German they say: "Wie Pech und Schwefel (like pitch and Sulphur)". It means the characters hang together, like best friends or so.
